Marketing Manager

Salary £40,000 – £50,000

Based: London

2/3 days office based

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of commercial marketing plans for all areas of advertising specifically markets, partnership and agency trading teams. Liaising with advertising, publishing and editorial (as well as any other relevant internal teams) you will develop narrative for ad marketing at a brand level and for Immediate overall.

As Marketing Manager, you will;

  • Create and manage central ad marketing budget
  • Deliver ad marketing for the advertising team within Immediate Media. This could take the form of:
  • Seasonal campaigns
  • Managing events organisation and logistics
  • Creating content for media packs
  • Developing case studies from ad effectiveness research and other data sources
  • Creating content and managing output for marketing emails
  • Content creation and day-today management of advertising social profiles


  • Experience in a marketing role, ideally in a media environment
  • Understanding and experience of working with data. Crucially the ability to understand research and other data to pull out key elements and work into a marketing story
  • Experience of writing marketing materials to create newsletters and other sales collateral
  • Experience of social media marketing, specifically LinkedIn
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, specifically the ability to work a narrative from data
  • Project planning skills to manage multiple projects and work streams
  • Thinks “beyond the now” with an ability to continually improve and develop
  • Ideally experience of industry research tools, systems and information sources such as PAMCo, TGI, Ipsos IRIS is desirable
