We’re working with a growing SaaS business looking to strengthen its finance function with the appointment of a Financial Accountant.
This is a broad role covering financial reporting, month-end, controls and commercial finance, with the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business.
Key responsibilities
- Own the month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare monthly management and financial reporting
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
- Support statutory accounts and external audit
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decisions
- Support revenue recognition and SaaS-specific accounting requirements
- Improve finance processes, controls and reporting
- Work closely with FP&A, commercial and operational teams
About you
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified / finalist
- Strong financial accounting and month-end experience
- Good understanding of financial controls and statutory reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience within SaaS, technology or another fast-paced commercial environment preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a growing, changing business
